The Australian Nursing Federation (ANF) was established in 1924. The ANF is the national union for nurses and the largest professional nursing organisation in Australia. The ANF's core business is the industrial and professional representation of nurses and nursing through the activities of a national office and branches in every State and Territory.

Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness or who are frail.

More than one in eight Australians provide care of this kind.

Carers Australia and the network of carers associations in each state and territory's purpose is to improve the lives of carers. Together we provide important services like counselling, advice, advocacy, education and training. We also promote the recognition of carers to governments, businesses and the wider public.

The Continence Foundation of Australia is the national peak body for continence management, promotion and advocacy. Continence issues affect nearly 20% of all Australians and this website contains information and resources for people with incontinence, their carers and health professionals.

Disability Services is a division of the Department of Human Services (DHS) and is a significant component of the portfolio of the Minister for Community Services, the Minister for Mental Health and the Minister for Senior Victorians, the Hon Lisa Neville MP.

Our role is to fund providers across the non-government sector to provide direct support and care for people with an intellectual, physical, sensory and neurological disability, and acquired brain injury in Victoria. The Division also provides some care and support services to people with a range of disabilities.

MND Victoria is an organisation dedicated to the support of people living with Motor Neurone Disease.

The service is for everyone who is living with MND, whether directly involved or not. MND impacts not only upon those with the diagnosis, but also upon spouses, carers, parents, children, the extended family, friends, workmates and service providers.

Membership of MND Victoria and access to its services is free to people with motor neurone disease, and $20 per year to other interested people.

Motor Neurone Disease Australia (MND Australia) is the Peak body of the State MND Associations and was formed in 1991 in response to the increasing number of people (and their families and carers) living with motor neurone disease (MND) in Australia. Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) provides comprehensive, professional nursing and healthcare to people in their home and in the community anytime - meeting their individual needs and contributing to their quality of life and independence.

RDNS services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic degenerative disease of the Central Nervous System and is the most common neurological disease that affects young adults. In MS sufferers the myelin, which encases the nerve fibres and assists nerve function, becomes inflamed and damaged causing plaques or lesions of inflammation and the myelin is lost from many areas of the Central Nervous System.

In contrast to a number of other charities, the Foundation is staffed solely by a team of volunteers who give their time and resources for free so that every dollar raised is placed into research.
