How Petal Back Clothing works

Petal Back Clothing offers a dignified solution for painless dressing and continence management.

All adaptive Petal Back garments open from the back. This unique design reduces the risk of skin tears or bruising and makes assisted dressing easier and faster.

No buttons, no zips, no studs, no Velcro.

Adaptive nighties, singlets, dresses, blouses, polos and pants

The petal back of the singlet, daywear and undergarment is double thickness for comfort and ease when sliding on and off. Deep armholes also allow for easy dressing.

Adaptive pants and trousers

Ideal for those who are wheelchair or princess chair users and for continence management, these adaptive pants and trousers can be put on and taken off without lifting or rolling the wearer.

Dressing can happen when the wearer is on a bed, in a chair or in a hoist lifting system.

Standing in front of the wearer:

  1. Slide the trousers up the legs
  2. Pass the long tape on one side behind the back
  3. Gently tie the long end of the tape to the short tie on the other side.
