Who our clothing is for

‘Adaptive’ or ‘assistive’ clothing describes items that are specially designed for people who have varying abilities.

The Petal Back™ Clothing range contains adaptive clothes mainly suitable for elderly people – those who need assistance dressing and undressing due to limited movement. This may be due to age, illness or a medical condition such as arthritis, dementia, Parkinson’s or stroke.

You or a loved one may spend a lot of time resting in bed and simply want high-quality cosy clothing without lying on uncomfortable buttons, Velcro or other fasteners.

People who have limited movement due to disability or injury will find that our items slip on and off easily. Great for assistive dressing with help from a carer or healthcare professional or when you just want it to be easier.

Our accessible clothing is Australia-designed and owned and we’re proud to have been providing great customer service since 1994.
